Anchor capstans
Ambtman Marine B.V. supplies anchor capstans for a wide scope of anchor chain measurements. Electrical as well as hydraulic drives are possible.
Warping heads can be delivered in combination with the anchor capstan for mooring purposes.
MOORING CAPSTANS
Ambtman Marine B.V. electrical and hydraulic capstans are easily identified by their compact shape. The warping head is built onto the top of a cylindrical (also deliverable in square or conical) pedestal. The electrical or hydraulic drive system is built into the pedestal, depending on the height of the pedestal required (and room underdeck). As a standard, the drive is in direct line, enabling easy removal of the head and drive line in one lift for maintenance in case necessary. For quick inspection and connection purposes, an inspection cover is provided in the foundation.
The operational height of the capstan can be accommodated to meet the requirements needed. Control of the warping head is also an option that can be achieved with hydraulic or frequency driven capstans.
