Ambtman Marine B.V. supplies the most common types of anchors for use in offshore, commercial shipping and yachting, ready for delivery anywhere in the world.

Stockless anchors
In particular the old fashioned Hall, and Spek type anchors, especially designed to fit perfectly into anchor pockets are the most common conventional anchor for most ships. Other types are of course available.

High Holding Power (HHP) Anchors

High Holding Power means it is possible to reduce 25% (in case of seagoing vessels) of the mass that would normally be required for conventional anchors. For inland navigation this reduction factor varies over the available types of anchor. Ambtman Marine B.V. supplies all the common HHP-anchors such as anchors AC-14, similar to POOL-TW, similar to POOL-N, HA-DU and D`Hone.

Similar to Pool N.
Our anchor that is similar to a Pool N is a stockless High Holding Power anchor. This particular anchor is used a lot for yachts, often supplied galvanized or in stainless steel. For inland navigation application this type of anchor can be taken with a reduction of 35% on the required conventional anchor mass.

Similar to Pool SHHP
Super High Holding Power anchors are used for optimal performance and are also a stockless anchor type. They have a reduction factor of 50% on the calculated conventional mass, and can be supplied with a shank reduction of 10%.

HA-DU anchor
This is a stockless High Holding Power anchor. It is a very strong anchor and very suitable for pockets. These anchors are fully balanced anchors, and built in Germany. For inland navigation, the reduction factor to be applied on the conventional mass is 50%!

D’HONE anchor
This is a stockless High Holding Power anchor. It is a very strong anchor and very suitable for pockets. These anchors are fully balanced anchors. For inland navigation, the reduction factor to be applied on the conventional mass is 30%.

Offshore Anchors

Ambtman Marine B.V. supplies a large variety of offshore anchors such as the anchor similar to the F.Delta type, Stevpris, and Shark kind of solutions.

Similar to F.Delta
This anchor is used predominantly in the dredging and offshore world. Known for its superior high holding power and easy handling and characteristic of easily digging into different ocean bottoms, it is always in demand.

Stevin/Stevpris/shark anchor
This anchor is mostly used for the offshore market and for temporary or permanent mooring.
